The Cotton Club and Cultural Museum is celebrating Juneteenth and Black Music Month with it’s annual Juneteenth Breakfast on Wednesday, June 19th at 7:30 AM at the Cotton Club Museum and Cultural Center, located at 837 SE 2nd Avenue, Gainesville, 32601.  Tickets are $35 each and can be purchased at Cotton Club Museum/Events.  DWCAC is hoping that we can gather a table of supporters for this event, so please consider joining us.

On June 19th, we have a number of us who are attending the Juneteenth breakfast at the Cotton Club!  We will have two tables set aside and I hope we fill them!  This is sponsored by the NAACP and will include honoring Black Music, so the program should be entertaining.  I hope that you will either go to the Cotton Club and Museum site or the City of Gainesville events to pay the $35 fee.  George Foxx always fixes a great breakfast with no shortage of good eats!
